FAQs

How long do the wine tastings take?

On average you should allow for 45 minutes to an hour to enjoy your tasting experience with us. We like our guests to relax and enjoy the wines, rather than being in a hurry.

What if I only have 20 minutes for a tasting?

If you are limited on time but would still like to try a couple of our wines, we will do our best to accommodate you. This may be a standing tasting at the bar rather than a seated tasting.

Do I have to pay for a tasting?

Due to our personalised level of service, and the range of wines offered our tasting do incur a charge which covers the cost of the wine tasted. Please visit our Cellar Door page to see the tastings being offered currently.

Do I have to be 18 to do a wine tasting?

In line with government legislation, and in line with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) drinking of alcohol, including tasting, is not permitted below the age of 18.

Do I need to make a booking?

We advise all guests to make a reservation to ensure that we can give them a table in their chosen area, and to avoid disappointment during busy times.

As our cellar door is an intimate tasting space with only 12 seats we advise bookings to avoid having to wait.

We do save our high tables at the wine bar for walk in guests.

Can I BYO to the restaurant?

We have a comprehensive wine list to cover all palates. Our highly skilled team can help you select wines from our list to compliment your dining choices. As such we do not offer BYO.

Can I buy wine in the shop and drink it in the bistro?

We offer a corkage surcharge for wines purchased in our wine shop. We also offer a wide selection of premium wines by the glass protected under coravin. We are happy to help you explore our wines when you visit.
